Why I built this
I built this because I like two things: solving problems and building LEGO.
I'm an engineer, so I'm wired to look at a problem and think, there has to be a better way to do this.
When I wanted to buy LEGO sets, I found myself checking different websites, comparing prices, waiting for discounts, and wondering if I was actually getting a good deal. So I decided to build a simple solution: a place where you can quickly find the best available price for a LEGO set.
LEGO itself is a pretty good representation of how I like to work. Brick by brick. Build something, see if it works, break it, rebuild it, and come back stronger.
I made this tracker for myself, but also for anyone who loves LEGO and finds the prices a little hard to justify. If there's a set you've always wanted, hopefully this helps you find it at a price that makes a little more sense.
This is still a work in progress, and I'm building it the same way I build LEGO — one brick at a time.
